What's in the works with Women in the Outdoors!

A new magazine

Women in the Outdoors will have a beefy section within the pages of our new Turkey Country magazine. Turkey Country brings together the best parts of all the Federation's publications for adult members -- Turkey Call, Women In The Outdoors, Wheelin' Sportsmen and Get in the Game. Having a single magazine will increase awareness of ALL the NWTF's programs and projects. And it will allow us to share our message with others among the Federation's membership.

* Look for your favorite regular articles, including Hen Tracks, The Outdoors Woman, Campfire Confessions, Cook Nook, Backyard Habitat and features on a variety of outdoor activities.
* Look for it SIX times a year!
* Look for more program information and member participation!

A bigger, better Web site

We're in the early stages of ramping up our Women in the Outdoors Web site. And we want to know what you want from www.womenintheoutdoors.org. Keep your eyes peeled for an online survey and give us your opinions.

Better volunteer resources

More resources for event coordinators and outreach volunteers are coming your way in 2010:
Look for more profits from your events going back to your local chapter and more into a state-run outreach fund.
Coming soon: No more stacked memberships! We will no longer require a membership as part of the registration fee for participants who are already NWTF/Women in the Outdoors members.
